Adobe’s generative AI master reveals the secrets to their rapid success in AI imagery and video
One of the pioneers of digital imaging joins us to unpack the secrets Adobe has in store for AI imaging in 2024 and beyond. Alexandru Costin is Adobe’s Vice President of Generative AI and he’s been helping to lead the company’s digital art mission for decades. Adario Strange gets Costin to compare the early ‘90s concerns over Photoshop possibly destroying art to the new fears around AI art and video.
Then the two take a deep dive into FireFly, Adobe’s generative AI tool that competes with the likes of Midjourney, Dall-E, and Stable Diffusion, and show how FireFly and third-party AI generators will work with Adobe Premiere for video. Finally, they debate what impact the EU’s AI Act will have on AI business as it now comes into effect.
