Hundred Year Podcast Ep. 43: The historic rap battle between Drake and Kendrick Lamar (and Rick Ross) has inspired the first legitimate AI music hit called “BBL Drizzy” and we have the song’s creator! The song by comedian Willonius Hatcher (aka King Willonius) has gone so viral that even hit making producer Metro Boomin has sampled the hilarious original to make his own remix of the song, and now Willonius is officially part of rap history. We talked to Willionius about how he created the first AI hit song and what it means for the rest of the music industry. Then he takes us into the creative process behind some of his other AI video shorts that span the realms of science fiction, comic book franchises, and even anime.
